Charlotte businessman and philanthropist, Mike Minter, Mike Minter Enterprises, has introduced Minter Community, a non-profit organization which is taking a unique approach to broadening the generational impact of our community by positively impacting students.

“We are passionate about helping area students succeed in today’s world, especially those students considered high risk based on circumstances,” says Minter.  “We focus on helping connect the dots between extracurricular activities and the academics and attitudes of these young men and women.”

Minter Community is partnering with organizations to introduce several programs including; “The Student Athlete’s Equation,” where “Attitude + Academics + Activities = Success.”  Organizations will identify students for the program and work with Minter Community to outline goals, establish baselines, and direct the students’ efforts toward attitude, academics, and activity benchmarks.
